Self Care Doc is designed to help people achieve a successful work-life balance by utilizing self-care as a healthy daily activity. Self Care Doc is comprised of a four-step process that includes self-awareness, self-compassion, self-confidence, and self-action. The Self Care Doc program is ideal for corporate mindsets and people with active lifestyles including professionals, entrepreneurs, artists, innovators, creators, and influencers.

Created by the psychiatrist, self-care coach, entrepreneur, mother and lifestyle columnist, Dr. Janet Taylor, the Self Care Doc coaching program are an integration of her years as a medical doctor, life coach, and mindfulness expert.

Dr. Taylor holds an M.D. from the University of Louisville, completed her psychiatric residency at New York Medical College and obtained an MPH from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention.

She had a column in Family Circle Magazine, “Ask Dr. Janet”, contributes to Arianna Huffington's Thrive network, and is also frequently featured on ABC's "Good Morning America", CBS's “Early Show” and "Dr. Oz, NBC's “The Today Show”, and formerly CNN’s “Nancy Grace.”

Self Care reinforces the need for individuals to become more aware of internal and external influences and how effectively utilizing gifts and resources effectively with life’s demands.

Self Care allows one to develop the tools needed to identify and understand their own cues. It’s less medical and prescriptive and is more centered around an evidence-based, spiritually progressive experience that everyone deserves.

Self Care Doc is a four step program geared to helping you achieve a more mindful and effective work + life balance. A healthy work + life balance involves understanding where our professional and personal lives intersect and navigating how to find the freedom that works, seamlessly.

The first step is becoming aware of external and internal triggers, self-sabotaging habits and unconscious patterns. This step takes notice of our pain, suffering, and experiences from the past and present and brings it to light.

The second step is finding the courage to move forward towards disrupting unconscious patterns, insecurities, and judgments about the self.

The third step explores lessons in mindfulness both from an individual and corporate perspective and introduces loving kindness and patience to what is uncovered from the first two steps. It is accepting self unconditionally and knowing that you are enough.

The fourth step places awareness, confidence, and compassion into daily action, fueled by a sense of purpose. It fortifies your motivation mindfully both from the external and internal perspective while opening the door to a more effective work+life experience.
